Dustin Cummings MD MPH is a clinical assistant professor at the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School Department of Surgery.
He received his BS, MD and MPH from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.
He completed his general surgical residency at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York.
He went on to complete minimally invasive/Bariatric Surgery fellowship at the University of Washington in Seattle.
He is certified by the American Board of Surgery.
He was a visiting research student at Nagoya University Graduate School of Medicine in 2004.
His hobbies include reading, writing, classical music, and jogging.
He is an avid fan of literature and a published science fiction author.
